The Secretary General of Bahrain’s Council of Representatives, Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Sisi Al-Buainain, led a delegation that visited National Leader Heydar Aliyev's Mausoleum in Baku on September 5, SİA reports.
The delegation paid respects to the memory of Azerbaijan’s National Leader and architect of the modern independent state, laying floral tributes at his grave.
The visitors then proceeded to Martyrs’ Alley to honor the memory of the country’s heroes who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s independence and territorial integrity, including a visit to the Eternal Flame monument.
Guests observing the panorama of Baku from the highest point in the city were also briefed on the history of Martyrs’ Alley and the ongoing urban development and beautification projects in the capital.
