The third Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) International Statistics Forum will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from September 24 to 26, SİA reports citing the CIS web portal.
The event will bring together representatives of national statistical services, international organizations, government institutions, and research circles.
This year’s forum is dedicated to the theme “Prospects for the Development of Statistics: The Role of International Projects.” Participants will discuss methodology, national and international practices, as well as global statistical initiatives such as the System of National Accounts 2025, the 2030 round of population and housing censuses, and the monitoring of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Special attention will also be given to factors ensuring the efficiency of projects, including the application of information technologies, integration, and use of smart data.
