He said that the development of these relations in terms of bilateral relations is already clear to everyone in many ways: "Here we have gained opportunities for cooperation with Uzbekistan in almost all areas in terms of the unity of our religion, race, and nation, and we continue in this direction. That is, we are increasing our cultural relations with Uzbekistan, developing both our economic and political relations.
Recently, there have been talks and our hope is that cooperation with Uzbekistan in the military-political sphere will also develop further, and we will begin to act as direct allied countries on the basis of our strategic alliance.
The second aspect is the format of international relations. Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan are members of many international organizations, but among them, the Organization of Turkic States should be specially emphasized. Because this organization is already causing the Turks to unite under one roof, regardless of whether they are in Anatolia or Central Asia - that is, Turkestan. This unity will be effective in acting together as a center of power against all pressures. Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan relations in this context should be specially noted. The Organization of Turkic States is growing stronger day by day. If when it was first established, this organization focused only on cultural and diplomatic relations, today we see that its scope of activity is expanding, it has been transferred to the economic sphere, and is currently developing towards the military sphere.
In the future, a single army, a center of power, a structure acting together in all areas of all Turkic states that are members of this organization will be formed. In this case, we will have the opportunity to respond quickly and strongly to all the threats we face from east to west, from north to south. Therefore, Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan relations are of particular importance in all these aspects, and activities in this area should be further expanded.
