On September 3, a banquet was hosted in Beijing in honor of the heads of delegations and their spouses who participated in the parade dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Chinese people's resistance against Japanese occupation and the victory in World War II, SİA reports.
The event was held on behalf of President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China and First Lady Peng Liyuan, and included a concert program.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva attended the ceremony.
