On September 3, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, visited the headquarters of the Naval Forces Command (NVF) of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. SIA reports that this was reported by the Ministry of Defense.
First, the “Monument to Heroes and Martyrs” and the Mausoleum of President “Ho Chi Minh” in Hanoi were visited and wreaths were laid.
Then, the Minister of Defense met with the Commander of the Vietnamese Navy, Vice Admiral Tran Thanh Nghiem.
During the meeting, a detailed exchange of views was held on the prospects for the development of cooperation between the Navys of both countries, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.
Finally, Colonel General Z. Hasanov visited the NVF brigade and “Ha Long” Bay and got acquainted with the conditions created there.
