Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu discussed the Washington meeting during a phone call.
According to SİA, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Nurtleu congratulated Azerbaijan on the agreements reached with the US during President Ilham Aliyev’s visit, as well as on the achievements in the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process. He noted that the signed documents hold significant importance for ensuring peace and stability in the region.
The ministers expressed satisfaction with the level of strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, emphasizing that high-level contacts and visits between the two countries contribute to furthering cooperation.
The importance of strengthening collaboration within regional and international organizations of which both countries are members was highlighted, and preparations for upcoming events in the coming months were discussed.
The parties also exchanged views on other matters of mutual interest.
