Azerbaijan sends another batch of humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Another batch of humanitarian aid, including electrical equipment, has been sent to Ukraine.

According to SİA, today the first part of the latest shipment of electrical equipment intended as humanitarian aid to Ukraine was dispatched from the Sumgayit Technopark.

The delivery is being carried out by the Ministry of Energy in accordance with the order of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated August 11, 2025.

The humanitarian cargo includes a total of about 90,000 meters of electrical cables and wires, as well as 25 generators and 7 sets of transformers. The first portion of this equipment, sent to support the restoration of stable electricity supply in regions of Ukraine affected by the ongoing war, was shipped on 10 trucks. The next part of this aid, with a total value of $2 million and organized based on requests from the Ukrainian side, is scheduled to be sent in the coming days.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan has previously sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine aimed at restoring power supply. The total humanitarian support provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine, including assistance for reconstruction and restoration, has already exceeded $44 million.
