Shahin Mustafayev, Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, is planning to visit Iran in the near future, as announced during a meeting with Iran’s Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Farzana Sadeghi, in Turkmenbashi.
Report informs via News.mrud.ir that during the meeting, Mustafayev and Sadeghi, who co-chair the Azerbaijan-Iran Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation, discussed the development of economic and administrative cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the area of cross-border projects.
Both sides emphasized the need to accelerate the implementation of joint projects, including the construction of the Astara border terminal and border bridges.
“An agreement has been reached for Shahin Mustafayev to visit the Iranian city of Astara to review the current state of project implementation on-site. As part of the upcoming trip, discussions are planned on various economic issues, negotiations will be held, and opinions will be exchanged on advancing projects and eliminating potential obstacles.”
