Türkiye and Azerbaijan have important strategic potential, said minister of national defense of Türkiye, General Yasar Guler, SİA informs.
He stressed that strengthening the defense potential and cooperation between the two countries is not a matter of choice, but a vital necessity.
According to the Turkish minister, the unbreakable fraternal ties between Ankara and Baku strengthen their bilateral strategic partnership.
"Our countries must be united and support each other under any circumstances. The victory in the 44-day war is not only a glorious page in the history of Azerbaijan, but also a source of pride for the entire Turkic world. This victory is of great importance for establishing peace and stability in the South Caucasus region," Yasar Guler added.
