Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke to his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian over phone on Wednesday, discussing bilateral ties, as well as regional and global developments, SİA reports citing Turkish media.
Erdogan said efforts would continue in the period ahead to strengthen the institutional framework of relations between Ankara and Tehran, according to a statement from Türkiye's Communications Directorate.
