Azerbaijan's permanent rep to UN mulls strengthening co-op with his Zimbabwean colleague

Azerbaijan's Permanent Representative to the UN Tofig Musayev has discussed strengthening cooperation with his Zimbabwean counterpart Taonga Mushayavanhu, SİA informs.

"The Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the United Nations, Ambassador Tofig F. Musayev, paid a courtesy call on the Permanent Representative of Zimbabwe to the United Nations, Ambassador Taonga Mushayavanhu. The two envoys exchanged views on strengthening cooperation within the United Nations system, particularly as members of the Non-Aligned Movement and the G77. Ambassador Mushayavanhu commended Azerbaijan for its capable leadership of NAM. They pledged mutual support for each other’s candidatures, with Zimbabwe seeking a non-permanent seat on the Security Council," Mission of the Republic of Zimbabwe to the UN wrote on X.
