The defendant Levon Mnatsakanyan, who was interrogated during the ongoing trial at the Baku Military Court, confirmed his participation in the occupation of the sovereign territories of Azerbaijan.
According to SİA, Mnatsakanyan stated that he was a battalion commander, division commander and artillery chief in the illegal regime for various years.
Answering the questions of the state prosecutors, the defendant admitted that he participated in the occupation of the sovereign territories of Azerbaijan as part of the military unit led by Samvel Karapetyan, saying: "I participated in the combat operations conducted in Aghdam, Jabrayil, Aghdara, Fuzuli and other territories."
