Head of the Friendship Group with Azerbaijan in the Serbian Parliament has thanked Baku for supporting the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity, SİA informs referring to the official website of the Serbian Parliament.
The head of the Friendship Group with Azerbaijan in the Serbian Parliament Dusan Maric expressed gratitude to Baku for its sincere and friendly support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia in international forums and organizations.
During a meeting with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Serbia Kamil Khasiyev, Maric also expressed gratitude for Azerbaijan's contribution to ensuring Serbia's energy security.
Khasiyev noted that Azerbaijan will continue to support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.
He stressed that Serbia is the only country in Europe with which Azerbaijan has a level of strategic partnership, adding that good relations between the states are also based on close personal ties between the leaders of the two countries.
