Love, respect and reverence for Heydar Aliyev will live forever in the heart of every Azerbaijani, First Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis Ali Ahmadov said at a special session of the parliament themed "National Leader Heydar Aliyev as the author of the Constitution of independent Azerbaijan" held on May 8, Report informs.
According to Ahmadov, wise leaders are a blessing given to a nation:
"Heydar Aliyev achieved what no politician could. When no one could unite the divided people, the Great Leader managed to unite Azerbaijan. The policy he initiated is alive and is carried on. The great victory that the Azerbaijani people had not seen for 30 years was achieved by the successor of the Great Leader, Ilham Aliyev. Heydar Aliyev was a manifestation of justice."
