Strategic partnership unites Belarus and Azerbaijan, says PM

Azerbaijan and Belarus are united by a strategic partnership, Prime Minister of Belarus, Aleksandr Turchin, said during an expanded meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ali Asadov, SİA informs.

"The cornerstone of our relationship is trade and economic cooperation, which covers the broadest areas and is characterized by high intensity. Last year, the growth of our mutual trade turnover showed significant figures. We cannot help but be pleased with this; nevertheless, in my opinion, we still have room to strive for more together.

We have focused on the restoration of territories and today we are ready to think together about proposals for a comprehensive solution to problems. This includes housing construction, and most importantly - the production sector, because, of course, people primarily need work and wages. These are the topics that we are ready to discuss more closely with the Azerbaijani side today. Of course, there are also the development of industrial corporation, new areas of cooperation, firefighting equipment, special municipal equipment, and other areas," Prime Minister Turchin stated.
