Despite the constantly changing international landscape, China-Azerbaijan relations remain strong and stable, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping said during talks with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Both countries have always remained true to the original intent of establishing diplomatic relations and have adhered to the principles of mutual respect, fairness, impartiality, and mutually beneficial cooperation, the Chinese leader said, adding that both sides should continue to strengthen political mutual trust, deepen practical cooperation, enhance international collaboration, and open a new chapter of comprehensive cooperation.
Xi Jinping also emphasized the importance of further developing cooperation between the two nations.
