On April 12, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Alain Berset, Secretary General of the Council of Europe, in Antalya, SİA reports.
During the conversation, Alain Berset’s visit to our country within the framework of COP29 and his meeting with the President of Azerbaijan were recalled with satisfaction. It was emphasized once again that important decisions regarding the global climate agenda were adopted during COP29.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on the prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and the executive bodies of the Council of Europe.
