Foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Israel, Jeyhun Bayramov and Gideon Saar, held a meeting in Abu Dhabi (UAE), the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry wrote on X, SİA informs.
The ministry noted that the parties discussed cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, energy, high technology, defense and other areas of mutual interest.
During the meeting, the foreign ministers touched upon issues of regional and international security, including the situation in the Middle East.
In turn, Minister Bayramov noted on his page on X that he informed his Israeli counterpart about the post-conflict restoration of the region, the peace agenda between Baku and Yerevan, as well as the current state of the process of normalizing relations and the existing challenges to the peace process.
