Second round of Russia-US consultations may take place in Riyadh in mid-April

The second round of Russian-US consultations on Ukrainian conflict settlement may be held in Riyadh in mid-April, a source familiar with the process of organizing the negotiations has told TASS, SİA informs.

"Technical consultations between Russia and the United States are to continue, although organizational issues related to the next round of talks have not yet been discussed," he said. "The delegations may hold another meeting in Riyadh, approximately in mid-April."

Russia and the US held consultations in Riyadh on March 24 that lasted more than 12 hours. The Russian delegation was led by Karasin and Sergey Beseda, advisor to the Director of the Federal Security Service. The US delegation included Andrew Peek, senior director for Europe at the National Security Council, and Michael Anton, director of Policy Planning Staff at the Department of State, as well as aides to Special Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.
