The agenda of the meeting between Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and a US delegation in Riyadh is dedicated to restoring bilateral relations and preparing for possible negotiations on Ukraine settlement, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told journalists, SİA informs via Russian media.
"Today, on President Putin's instructions, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov are going to Riyadh. Tomorrow in Riyadh, they will hold a meeting with the US delegation. The meeting will primarily focus on restoring Russia-US relations," he noted.
According to Peskov, the meeting will also discuss preparation for possible negotiations on Ukraine settlement and organizing a Trump-Putin meeting.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has already arrived in Saudi Arabia to conduct negotiations with the Russian side.
