"The war in Ukraine has brought billions of dollars in revenue to the U.S," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan on his YouTube channel, SİA reports citing Unian.
He noted that due to the Russia-Ukraine war, arms manufacturing companies in the U.S. have managed to sign the most expensive purchase agreements in the last 50 years: "There is interest in purchasing weapons in all European countries due to the war. This means huge amounts of money. Since manufacturers in the U.S. also have offices in Europe, they can even earn millions of dollars from licenses. We have produced drones to strike Russia’s military equipment, energy facilities, and military targets within its territory".
V. Zelenskyy added that Western countries also use the technologies developed in Ukraine: "Moreover, the U.S. has gained extensive experience in conducting ground warfare."
