Azerbaijan's Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Shahin Abdullayev discussed prospects for cooperation in various fields with the organization's Secretary General Hussein Brahim Taha, SİA informs, citing the press service of the organization.
"[...] Taha received the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the OIC, Ambassador Shahin Abdullayev, in his office at the General Secretariat headquarters today, January 27, 2025," the statement reads.
The parties highly appreciated the level of relations between the OIC and Baku, and discussed prospects for cooperation in various fields.
"The Secretary General highly appreciated Azerbaijan's support for OIC activities. The parties also discussed a number of issues on the organization's agenda," the press service specified.
