The explosion of the Cybertruck near the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas was probably a terrorist act, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said.
"Appears likely to be an act of terrorism," Musk wrote on his page in the X social network. The Cybertruck and the F-150 pickup truck acting as the suicide bomb in New Orleans were rented from Turo service, he noted.
"Perhaps they are linked in some way," he added.
One person died and seven others were wounded as a result of the Cybertruck explosion on Wednesday. The deceased person has not yet been identified. According to ABC television, authorities investigate the incident as a potential terrorist act.
