Rashad Nabiyev: Black boxes investigation will be conducted in accordance with the legislation

"As you know, the plane flying from Baku to Grozny made a decision to make an emergency landing in the city of Aktau. While landing, the plane crashed for reasons that are still unknown. As a result of the accident, our citizens on board the plane, as well as citizens of Russia and Kyrgyzstan, died," the Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev told APA.

According to him, it was possible to save the lives of 29 people at the scene: "We are currently returning from Kazakhstan together with the Minister of Emergency Situations. We visited Azerbaijani citizens and other passengers there. On the instructions of Mr. President, we inquired about their condition. Some of them are able to move on their own.

Based on the doctors' conclusion, we decided not to bring them back with us. Whenever the doctors make a decision, they will return on their own. At the same time, we have patients in intensive care, whose treatment is also being taken under the supervision of doctors from Kazakhstan and seconded from Azerbaijan. It is unlikely that the deceased will be brought back today. An investigation is underway. The final decision will be made tomorrow or in the coming days. Black boxes have been found. Their investigation will be conducted in accordance with the legislation."
