Erdogan offers condolences following Azerbaijan Airlines plane crash in Aktau
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Türkiye has expressed his condolences regarding the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft in the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan, SİA reports.
"We learned with great sorrow about the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft near the city of Aktau," Erdogan said.
He extended his condolences to both brotherly nations.
Note that an Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft performing flight J2-8243 from Baku to Grozny, an Embraer 190 airplane, crashed 3 km near the city of Aktau. There were 67 passengers and 5 crew members on board.
