The reason for the conflicts that began in Syria is the failure to resolve the problems that have existed for more than 13 years, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said this during a joint press conference with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi in Ankara, SİA reports.
He noted that ignoring the opposition's demands and the government's lack of sincerity in the political process were mistakes: "Finally, their shelling of civilians ignited the civil war."
