Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has received an invitation to participate in the UN Climate Conference (COP29) in Baku, said Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan, SİA informs via Armenian media.
"This issue is being discussed in several aspects, both for establishing peace, resolving humanitarian issues, and in connection with the event's agenda. You know that this is the most prestigious international event dedicated to climate change. Taking into account all the circumstances I mentioned, we will soon decide at what level Armenia will be represented," he noted.
When asked about the possibility of Mirzoyan's presence at COP29, Hovhannisyan replied that "no option is ruled out" and added that "everything depends on how events develop in the coming weeks."
