Several countries don't want to perceive, fairly evaluate Azerbaijan's success

A number of countries don't want to recognize the influence and economic success of Azerbaijan and give them a fair assessment, President of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev said on the "Target" program on the AzTV channel.

"Azerbaijan has achieved significant success. Restoration of territorial integrity, economic achievements, strong positions in the international arena. Some countries don't perceive this, it is difficult for them to assess it fairly. However, we expected this (slanderous campaign - ed.)," he noted.

According to Babayev, in connection with this trend, a media team consisting of serious specialists and all kinds of conditions for regular and competent coverage of the projects and programs implemented by Azerbaijan both within the country and abroad were created.

"Thanks to the work of this professional team, there has not been a week this year when we have not provided information and made statements to international media," he noted.

He added that agencies that were skeptical about Azerbaijan have now changed their approach to Baku and the COP29 team.

"Now they all understand and see the strength of our country," Babayev noted.
