Deputy President of Malaysian Senate: We visited several polling stations without any obstacles or restrictions

“During the snap parliamentary elections, we visited several polling stations without encountering any obstacles or restrictions. We observed the voting process in polling stations located in Sabail, Nasimi, and Surakhani districts and noted that the democratic process was conducted peacefully,” said Deputy President of the Malaysian Senate, Nur Jazlan bin Mohamed, at a press conference held on September 2 on the results of the snap parliamentary elections.

"We witnessed that people were treated fairly at the polling stations and had complete freedom in exercising their democratic voting rights," said the Deputy Chairman of the Malaysian Senate.

He pointed out that this is the second election he participated in as an international observer in Azerbaijan.
