Political commentator Hakan Yavuz: "Whole Turkic world is happy that elections to be held in entire territory of Azerbaijan"
"The parliamentary elections to be held in Azerbaijan, which is the leader of the South Caucasus, and will include Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur, will make Azerbaijan's victories known at the international level. The biggest feature of these parliamentary elections is that they cover territories that have been liberated from occupation. It is the first time that people from that region will participate in the parliamentary elections in their homeland. This factor clearly confirms that those regions are already under the legal control of Azerbaijan. This makes the entire Turkic world happy, along with the people of Azerbaijan," Hakan Yavuz, professor of the University of Utah, political scientist, told Secki 2024 Independent Media Center.
Hakan Yavuz said that it is observed that the elections were held in a healthy and fair manner in Azerbaijan. It is a positive thing that candidates effectively use media and internet resources in the campaign.
