China's famous Xinhua agency has published material about the snap parliamentary elections to be held in Azerbaijan.
Secki 2024 Independent Media Center reports that the article was entitled "Azerbaijan is preparing for parliamentary elections to be held on September 1", it was noted that Azerbaijan has invited international observers from many countries to ensure the transparency of the election process.
The article reads that the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) will be held in Azerbaijan in November of this year.
The article also provides information on the history of the Azerbaijani parliament, the formation of its structure, local observers and international organizations that will monitor the elections. The authors have brought to the readers' attention that pre-election campaigning is currently underway, and August 31 will be a "day of silence".
