President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received President of the World Ethnosport Confederation Bilal Erdoğan, SİA reports.
Bilal Erdoğan conveyed the greetings of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Azerbaijan's head of state. President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the greetings and asked that his greetings be conveyed to the President of Türkiye.
Appreciating the activities of the World Ethnosport Confederation, the President of Azerbaijan, conveyed his congratulations on the achieved successes. The head of state noted that Azerbaijan is actively represented in the Confederation and stated that Azerbaijani athletes participate successfully in the organization’s competitions.
At the meeting, the relations of brotherhood, friendship, and strategic alliance between the two states were once again mentioned, and it was emphasized that Azerbaijan and Türkiye are always at each other's side.
