Azerbaijan CEC registered no complaints of election campaign violations
To date, the Central Election Commission (CEC) has not received any appeals regarding the violation of the law by the candidates in connection with the pre-election campaign, Secki 2024 Independent Media Center reports, citing the Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Rovzat Gasimov.
He said that the pre-election campaign of the candidates continues in a peaceful atmosphere and mutual respect.
"Candidates clearly convey their information, posts and platforms to their voters and answer their questions. I would also like to mention one thing that the Hotline number 115 of the CEC has so far received as many applications as can be counted on the fingers. Most of them are of inquiry nature. Or some questions about legal issues were addressed to our Hotline by the election subjects. There were also questions about the places allocated for promotion. As you know, wide and comprehensive opportunities have been provided for the pre-election campaign of candidates, in order to make the campaign process more extensive, and the CEC has identified 5,506 places together with relevant institutions, and detailed information about those places has been made public and brought to the attention of voters and campaign subjects. 3,469 of the allotted places are outdoor and 2,037 are indoor All these places are at the disposal of the candidates until 8:00 on August 31,” R. Gasimov said.
