991 candidates will race for 125 MP mandates in Azerbaijan

The number of people who registered their candidacy to be members of parliament (MP) in the extraordinary parliamentary elections has been revealed, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission Rovzat Gasimov said, SİA reports.

He noted that the names of 991 candidates for the post of MP were noted in the ballots. Extraordinary parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan will be held on September 1.
