According to the request of the "For Equal Development" Coalition, the State Committee on Family, Women and Children's Issues, within the framework of cooperation with the Central Election Commission, meetings on "Raising women's participation in the National Assembly elections" are being held in Baku city and regions.
Secki 2024 Independent Media Center reports that the next meetings in this direction took place in Khazar district of Baku city and Barda.
At the meetings, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee Sadagat Kahramanova, Head of the "For Equal Development" Coalition, Chairman of Gender and Economy Public Union Tarana Karimova and members of the Coalition - Chairman of the Young Democrats Institute, political scientist Yegane Hajiyeva, Chairman of the "Kamillik" Society Asmatkhanim Mammadova, as well as local community and municipal members participated.
It should be noted that the meetings covering Baku city and regions will be held until the end of August.
