Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan Launch "Golden Eagle - 2024" Joint Military Exercises in the Jungaria Alatau Mountains
The joint tactical-special military exercises "Golden Eagle - 2024," involving service members from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, have officially commenced in the Jungaria Alatau mountains, press service of the Ministry of Defense told SIA.
According to the plan, military personnel from the participating countries have conducted reconnaissance missions in challenging mountainous terrain. On the first day of the exercises, participants received instruction on the use of mountaineering equipment, climbing and descending steep cliffs, providing first aid at high altitudes, and evacuating the injured.
The main focus of the exercises is on enhancing the tactical skills of the personnel in combat missions and improving the overall combat readiness of the units.
