"All measures for the parliamentary elections scheduled for September 1 in the third Sumgait District No. 44 are being carried out properly. The polling stations for the district have been fully formed. There are 37 polling stations in our district. The number of voters is more than 50,000. Of which, 692 are first-time voters," Arzuman Suleymanov, chairman of Sumgayit Third District Election Commission No. 44, told Secki 2024 Independent Media Center.
A. Suleymanov emphasized that 8 candidates were registered in the district.
"At present, the candidates are conducting a pre-election campaign. The number of local observers in the district is 1,007 people. In addition, international observers also visited the district and got acquainted with the process of preparation for the election," he concluded.
