"The election preparation process is carried out at a high level" Election Monitoring Coalition:

"We have been observing the election process since the announcement of the elections to the Milli Majlis. We have followed the speeches of the candidates in the elections through the media, the applications to the Central Election Commission, the examination of these applications, the issuance of signature collection sheets, the signature collection campaign, the attitude of the CEC to the acceptance of the collected documents and other processes. We believe that everything is done in accordance with the law. I highly appreciate the pre-election campaign. All candidates are given equal conditions to campaign both in the media and on the ground. There is no obstacle. Campaign boards have been placed in all stations, candidates' campaign materials have been placed on these boards," Adam Ismayil Bakuvi, co-founder of the My Voice Election Monitoring Coalition, told Secki 2024 Independent Media Center.

He said that there are 533 observers of the Election Monitoring Coalition who will monitor the election process in 65 constituencies across the country.

"According to our observations, we can say that preparations for the election are going on at a high level in all district election commissions and precinct election commissions. Experienced, professional people were involved in organizing the election process. At the same time, there were no obstacles in the process of collecting signatures in any part of the republic. Some of the candidates are active in the campaign that started on August 9. They often meet with voters in different areas and regions, collect detailed information about their problems, and discuss the raised issues. Observers also pay attention to meetings held by candidates in different areas of the country. The Central Election Commission has allocated places covering all district election commissions for candidates to hold meetings with voters in the pre-election campaign. Candidates can comfortably meet with voters," said he.

The co-founder of the coalition also pointed out that the CEC has implemented positive changes that create conditions for more democratic and transparent elections.

"The Central Election Commission is improving its work even more. Educating employees of lower election commissions is underway. Including, technological possibilities are used to educate voters,” he added.

He noted that civil society institutions are actively participating in the process of observing the elections to the Milli Majlis, which will be held on September 1

"6,045 people representing NGOs, civil society institutions and public associations operating in the country will be observers on the election day," said Adam Ismayil Bakuvi.

He stressed that the "My Voice" Election Monitoring Coalition held two meetings with representatives of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) who were invited to monitor the election process.
