"As a resident of Shusha, I am very proud to vote in the parliamentary elections for the first time in my hometown,” Gunay Karimova, a resident of Shusha, told Secki 2024 Independent Media Center.
She noted that she used to live in Baku as an internally displaced person and always voted in all elections, including parliamentary elections, at the polling station set up in Baku.
“Thank God that this longing has ended and we have returned to our native lands. We feel proud because we are already in our own land, in the city of Shusha, and for the first time we will vote in Shusha. This is a very proud and historic event for us, our state," concluded Gunay Kerimova.
