OSCE/ODIHR observers observe election preparation process in Beylagan
"A total of six candidates registered in Beylagan District Election Commission No. 83 are competing. In accordance with the legislation, equal conditions were created in the pre-election campaign of the candidates. Indoor and outdoor meeting spaces have been allocated in all stations, and campaign boards have been placed," Zakir Velishov, Chairman of the District Election Commission (DEC), told Secki 2024 Independent Media Center.
The Chairman of the Central Committee noted that 667 people in the constituency will exercise their right to vote for the first time in the elections to be held on September 1.
"There are 59 permanent and 2 temporary polling stations in the district. Web cameras have been installed in 7 stations and ramps in 14 stations. The number of registered voters in the district is 55,169. The oldest voter is 108 years old. More than 700 local observers are registered. Observers of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) got acquainted with the election preparation process at the District Election Commission and 2 polling stations," added the Chairman of the OSCE.
