"There are 56 polling stations on the administrative territory of Samukh-Shamkir Electoral District No. 101 and 32 of these polling stations are located in Samukh, and 24 are located in Shamkir district," Bayram Gasimov, chairman of Samukh-Shamkir District Election Commission No. 101, told Secki 2024 Independent Media Center.
He also noted that the total number of voters in the electoral district is 54,382:
"28,336 of these voters are registered voters in Shamkir and 26,046 in Samukh district. There are 355 people who voted for the first time in the district. Of which 212 are residents of Shamkir, and 143 of them are residents of Samukh district. More than 800 observers are registered in the district,” Bayram Gasimov said.
The chairman of the DEC noted that 13 people took signature sheets for the electoral district, and the candidacy of 8 of them was registered.
"The process is carried out according to the Calendar Plan. International observers visited the district election commission. We have regular meetings with the members of the precinct election commissions, and our supply is at a high level. Some of the polling stations in the constituency are equipped with web cameras," he concluded.
