Baku is actively developing, becoming an oasis in the South Caucasus region, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku, SİA informs.
"I am very glad to be in Baku, to admire this city once again," he said.
Putin noted that the Azerbaijani president pays great attention to the development of Baku.
"It is visible. The city is developing, developing successfully, turning into an oasis, I would say, in the region. We love Baku - a beautiful city! And, most importantly, it is developing as [intensively] as many other settlements [in Azerbaijan]," Putin added.
