"Ideal conditions have been created for registered candidates to conduct pre-election campaigns," Mikayil Rahimov, secretary of the Central Election Commission (CEC), told Secki 2024 Independent Media Center.
The CEC secretary noted that indoor and outdoor meeting places have been allocated in the territory of all district election commissions so that candidates can have live contact with voters.
"Registered candidates can freely meet with voters in those places. At the same time, propaganda boards are placed in all stations for candidates to present their propaganda materials," Mikayil Rahimov noted.
The CEC secretary said that access to the media subjects of the candidates was fully ensured.
"Free and paid media entities have been defined by the CEC, and the rules for campaigning have been announced," he pointed out.
M. Rahimov said that the pre-election campaign continues in accordance with the law.
"I don't think there will be any serious problems, because everything is regulated by the law and ideal conditions have been created for campaigning by the CEC in accordance with the requirements of the law," he added.
