6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue wraps up in Baku

The closing ceremony of the 6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue themed “Dialogue for Peace and Global Security” was held today in Baku. The closing ceremony, moderated by Mike Hardy, Founding Director of the Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations of UK’s Coventry University, featured remarks by Azerbaijan’s Culture Minister Adil Karimli, who expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for his address, featuring essential views, as well as the President’s particular support for the intercultural dialogue.

He also underscored the important messages regarding the upcoming COP29 Conference delivered at the Forum.

Other speakers also included Salim bin Mohammed Almalik, Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), Zoritsa Urosevic, Executive Director of the World Tourism Organization (UN World Tourism), and Nihal Saad, Director of the United Nations Alliance of Civilisations (UNAOC).
