57th Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank to be Held in Tbilisi from May 2-5

From May 2-5, the 57th Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) will take place in Tbilisi.

The meeting will be attended by ministers, senior government officials, businessmen, representatives of financial institutions, and non-governmental organizations from member countries, SIA reports.

The agenda of the meeting includes discussions on food and energy security, climate change, digital transformation, and other issues. Various events, seminars, and presentations will be held during the annual meeting.

Founded in 1966, the primary objective of the Asian Development Bank is to support the economic development of its member countries, aiming to eradicate poverty and improve the living standards of the population.

With 48 regional and 19 non-regional members, totaling 67 countries, Azerbaijan became a member of the bank in 1999. The 48th Annual Meeting of the ADB was held in Baku in 2015.
