As part of her working visit to Switzerland, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova has met with Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva Tatiana Valovaya on the sidelines of the “Turkic Week in Geneva,” jointly organized by the Organization of Turkic States.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the upcoming plans and hailed the importance of the international cooperation in the field of culture.
Aktoty Raimkulova underlined that the Foundation was interested in the partnership with the UN to promote inter-civilizational understanding by demonstrating the cultural wealth of the Turkic world.
The UN Geneva Director-General commended the Foundation's efforts to highlight cultural diversity towards diplomacy.
The parties agreed to continue relations towards exploring new prospects for enhancing cooperation.
