Simonyan: Yerevan, Moscow not discuss withdrawal of Russian border guards from Armenian-Turkish border
Yerevan and Moscow do not discuss the withdrawal of Russian border guards from the Armenian-Turkish border, the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Alen Simonyan, said, SİA informs.
He also said that the issue of removing the Russian border guards from the Zvartnots International Airport has been resolved: "Yerevan and Moscow do not discuss this issue."
Earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that Russian border guards will leave the airport on August 1 this year. This deepened the contradictions between Yerevan and Moscow.
