The 219th session of the UNESCO Executive Board continues at the organization’s headquarters in Paris.
Azerbaijan’s Permanent Delegation to the UNESCO represents the country at the session.
The 219th session of the UNESCO Executive Board heard the reports on the implementation of the program adopted by the Bureau and the General Conference of the Organization.
The session will feature discussions on issues such as follow-up to decisions and resolutions adopted during the previous sessions of the Executive Board and the General Conference, elimination of racial discrimination, racial hatred and racial hate crimes in the world. "Bicycle for all: Bicycle for sustainable and healthy lifestyles" initiative, actions taken by UNESCO towards increased global financing of media and information literacy (MIL) are also on the agenda of the session. The member countries will make presentations at the session.
The session will continue its work until March 27.
