Russian PM Mishustin discusses collaborative initiatives with Azerbaijan

On March 11, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin concluded the results of discussions between the governments of Russia and Azerbaijan during an operational consultation with deputy prime ministers.

The bilateral talks focused on crucial issues encompassing the Russian language, economy, and joint projects, SIA reports citing Russian media.

"During the negotiations, we touched upon the most important topics of the bilateral agenda. This includes collaboration in energy, industry, transportation infrastructure, agriculture, and pharmaceuticals. We have reached an agreement to enhance cooperation on joint projects and create the most favorable and conducive conditions for attracting mutual investments," stated Mishustin.

According to Mishustin, the governments will also undertake measures related to the support and development of the Russian language in the republic. Additionally, efforts will be directed towards the construction of the North-South transport corridor, which passes through Azerbaijani territory.

"Colleagues! Pay close attention to the implementation of agreements concluded with our Azerbaijani colleagues in the areas you oversee on the territories under your control," instructed Prime Minister Mishustin to his deputies.

This collaborative approach aims to further strengthen relations between Russia and Azerbaijan, fostering economic cooperation and joint initiatives in various sectors.
