Numan Kurtulmuş, the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan from February 21 to 23 to participate in the 14th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA).
Numan Kurtulmuş, the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, will address the plenary session of the APA during his visit to Azerbaijan, SIA reports with reference to Russian media.
Within the framework of the APA's plenary session, Numan Kurtulmuş will hold bilateral meetings with Sahiba Gafarova, the Speaker of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, and counterparts from other participating countries.
As part of his visit to Azerbaijan, which coincides with the reelection of President Ilham Aliyev in the elections held on February 7, Numan Kurtulmuş is also scheduled to meet with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Discussions during Kurtulmuş's visit are expected to cover bilateral relations, as well as the recent attacks on Gaza and Palestinian territories by Israel, addressing current global and regional issues.
